Jump! is a Jump’n'Run game which is developed by three german students. On the coding
side we choose the XNA framework because of the small learning curve and the fast prototyping possibilities. Additional we choose the Hilva Graphics Engine because of the good interface design (easy to integrate in our engine) and the huge count of graphics possibilities which allows us to work faster then implement that all for our selfs.
The content pipeline was entirely driven by Maya and Photoshop. We developed this
game since June 2008 to the actual alpha state in under seven months besides the
normal university workload. After a longer break until March 2009 we are now going
straight forward to release beta-version in autumn this year.
